Was going through Craigholdt and got my hands on a Widowmaker Figurine that summon the large Widowmaker and its 2 smaller version. While doing a quest in the very first floor, I was fighting some floating weapons, and decided I needed backup. Finished the battle and continued on my way, until I noticed 1 extra party member along with me. The Large Widowmaker is now a permanent pet, can stealth and everything.

 

I attempted to summon it again by using the 2nd one I acquired, but it disappeared after the battle ended.

Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! Fortunately we are aware of the issue but it seems this is difficult to reproduce. Typically a save/load will clear this issue or summoning it again as you said.
