January 11, 201610 yr Game is fine until the very first sequence for the Gilded Vale loads (where caravan is standing around campfire). When the first NPC in this sequence takes a step, game crashes to desktop w/ no error. Try verifying your game cache in steam or gog galaxy and see if that fixes it. If you are in steam, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of game cache. Every system handles the game differently, so not everyone will experience the same issues. Could you please upload an output log and a dxdiag file so I can take a look?
