Hi.

I've been experiencing quite random crashes during whole time I've been playing PoE. These do not seem to be limited to just Gilded Vale, but rather just happen randomly (from the starting area up to Raedrick's Hold). These crashes have happened while conversating, walking or fighting, doesn't seem to have any pattern on that regard.

Most of the error logs contain :

Unknown caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)

  in module Unknown

but some have mono.dll as the cause.

I'm running Windows 7 x64.

Hello Clover,

Welcome to the forums and I apologize for the inconvenience. I took a look at your logs and there are a lot of files that are missing or cant be found. Since you are playing in GOG I would suggest uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. If you have GOG Galaxy, try verify/repair in the client and that should fix this issue.

Thank you for your support.

Sadly GOG Galaxy verified that the files were in order. I did reinstall anyway, but the problem persists.

Hello again Clover,

When you uninstalled the game, did you also delete the Pillars of Eternity on your F: Drive?

Try adding an exception for PoE to your anti-virus and firewall.

Do you have EVGA Precision X installed? Please uninstall that app, that will be the cause of the issue if that is the case.
