October 6, 201510 yr Hello Sontar, I apologize for the inconvenience. Could you please be more specific on the issue you are experiencing? When I open up the quest log and click on a quest, it remains on the quest and I can read it normally. Thanks! Obsidian Discord || Grounded Discord
October 6, 201510 yr Author when I open my quest log on click on the quest I want to check on, that Click will move me into the next tab page I.E the Journal when I click anything in that it takes me to the Notes and so on, in no way is my mouse anywhere near the journal tab or the notes when I try to read a quest. its not the biggest deal since I have the game in steam and can google but it is a minor annoyance, any help with it would be great.
October 9, 201510 yr Hello again Sontar, Please verify your game cache and see if that fixes it for you. In your Steam Library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Let me know how that goes. Thanks! Obsidian Discord || Grounded Discord
October 10, 201510 yr Author I verified my game cashe and the bug is still active I also try uninstalling and reinstalling and that did not fix it ether
October 12, 201510 yr Hello Sontar, I could be a graphics card issue. Make sure that your graphics card is up to date. What resolution are you playing in? Fullmode? Windowed? Try switching between the 2 and see if that helps at all. Could you please upload a save file and an output log via dropbox? Thanks! Obsidian Discord || Grounded Discord
January 10, 201610 yr I had a similar issue and was eventually able to solve it. Like Sontar, when I would try to click on one of my quests in my journal, the game would transport me to the next page. Also, when I would go into my inventory and click on a piece of gear for one of my character, the game would blink and move me to the next character in the list. I think some items may have been disappearing during this, as well. I hadn't made any updates or changes to my computer recently, so I was very confused as to why this was happening. To be safe, I checked to make sure my mouse and graphics card were up to date. They both were. Next, I started a new game to make sure that I wasn't having an issue with my saved files. The problem persisted in the new game, however. Then, I did a complete fresh install of the game. The problem was still there. Finally, I reset my control options (in the control panel in the game) to default and the problem was solved. It seems that somehow two keys must have been linked to the same action, so the game would get confused when I would try to click on things. If you are having a problem similar to this, I would try to reset the controls to default before trying anything more drastic and time consuming.
