Bonuses from Rings reduced

After not playing the game for some months, i now updated it and installed The White March.

 

When loading any savegame, all rings of protection and rings of deflection which previously gave +10 bonuses now only give +9 bonuses.

 

Were the bonuses from these items reduced by a patch or might that be a bug?
