Characters invisible - only weapons appear

No matter how many times I reload, restart the game, restart my computer, my characters are invisible with only their weapons appearing.  The invisible characters also have a tendency to get stuck.  When I load all of my autosaves and quicksaves, this is what happens.

 

The game is unplayable.  Any suggestions?

Sorry for the inconvenience. Chances are you need to perform a verify cache on steam. Go to you steam library, right-click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Make sure that your graphics card has the latest drivers installed as well. Let me know how it goes.

Configure browser push notifications
