Hi I managed to download the expansion from steam without trouble and played it that day without issues however when I went to play it today it crashed on start up.  Verifying the cache leads to it stating that ~250 files need to be validated after which it updates and results in a disk read error.  Checking the disk for errors shows no errors and other software, both game and professional software, work fine on this disk.  I've tried verifying the cache, moving the steam install, restarting the computer, and deleting the steam bob file with no success.  For some reason there are two crash logs for the same date.

 

I'm not really sure what else to do.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game and see if that resolves your issue for you.

I reinstalled as suggested and the game now works but, the music and graphics for the companions were missing. I verified the cache again and it now works. Thanks for all the help .
