White March save game trouble

I can't find the save games from a character, that I created under beta version 2.0.

 

But two other and older characters that were created before 2.0 is there

Hey Lakrids,

 

Check your save game folder (User/SavedGames/PillarsOfEternity) for a folder called 2.0 Saved Games Backup. See if your missing character is in there and just drag and drop him into the save game folder.

Have just done that, it didn't work. A little strange and annoying but not a big deal

Make sure you have The White March installed. There should be a checkbox in your steam library for Pillars in the DLC section. Otherwise expansion saves will not show up if you just have the base game installed.

Checked the steam store, and there was white march added, but when I looked in the game. I could not see any indication that white march was added.

I then removed the game from the Beta track, to the regular, and 4GB later, I could then see the missing save game character
