Stupid Question regarding achievements

So I just bought Pillars of Eternity and I always had a problem with hitting the tilde key (`) instead of escape and I know in New Vegas if you even hit the tilde key it will disable all achievements. I'm wondering if this is the same for Pillars of Eternity or if it only applies if you actually enter something into the console command (Like a cheat).

Achievements only disable when you type the command that activates cheats (Iroll20s). Just opening the console doesn't disable achievements.
