Syrieal Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 When I sometimes use a potion, mainly endurance restoring potions, my character will stop attacking, take no commands, and not do anything until the enemy attacks and kills me to death (as they continue to fight). I'm not sure if this is intended or not, because I've not found anyone else talking about this issue. I'm currently playing a Solo Barbarian, on Hard, expert mode. I've not played much, but this issue forces me to reload the game each time it happens. I did not see any extra effects on the potions other than restoring endurance. Anyone else see this?
manageri Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Similar stuff happens to me. Not sure if it has to do with interruptions, but it doesn't seem to behave similarly, which would be simply attempting to reuse the potion when interrupted, so it certainly seems more like a bug. If the game wasn't so easy, and therefore consumables so pointless (which is probably why you haven't been able to find similar threads), this would probably piss me off a lot more, so I can certainly see why you'd be less than impressed when trying solo. 1
Syrieal Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 Thanks for replying to this, I just really don't know what's going on. Now, it's happening when, at the start of combat I activate Frenzy. My character will no longer attack. I thought maybe it was because I was prone, and the animation wasn't showing. But My debuffs do not show prone, and it happens throughout the fight. I'm unable to attack, take potions, or do anything other than die or reload the game. This has also happened with Barbaric Blow, right after using that, my character just stops.
wanderon Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 IIRC someone posted about a bug in 1.06 that causes auto-attack to stop (more or less randomly??) - I have experienced this but rarely use potions so cannot link my experience to potion use.
