gruthunder Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I want to use some of the conversation files (the text in them) in a dnd campaign that i'm hosting. Unfortunately I can't find a compilation of the text files online, and when I attempt to access the game files themselves, their extensions are .conversation files? They aren't recognized by my comp. or by Microsoft. I attempted to open them with other programs, but it just gives me coding for them. Is there any way to get these text files?
Varana Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) The text itself is in ...\data\localized\en. The files have the extension "*.stringtable", but you can open them with Notepad or other text editors. The *.conversation files contain how dialogue topics and responses are linked, and things like the requirements for certain text options. Elerond Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 .conversation and .stringtable files are xml files, so you can read and edit them with any text or xml editor.
