Hi there,

I understand that they go for digital distribution first for economical reasons. But considering PoE has great review scores,

I wonder if they gonna release the "PILLARS OF ETERNITY: ROYAL EDITION" in a physical form. I like all the stuff

in it but I hate PDFs. I wish there would be an option to get the extras in physical form and the game as a code to DL

from GoG or Steam. I don't even mind the OST to be a DL code but I really, really want the Collector’s Book, almanac,

cookbook, map, guide, concept art and novella as actual prints.

There is an over 40Eur (germany here, Royal Ed cost 83Eur) price difference compared to the Hero Ed.(42Eur).

I don't mind spending spending 83Eur on the Royal Ed. but for almost twice the price compared to the game only tag,

I would like to see at least the text and art materials as printed extras.

Does Obsidian plan to release a physical version of the Royal Ed. at any point?

Or at least the Extras...

I would guess no, as selling those things is now in Paradox's hands.

But you can buy physical copy of game and some of the extra stuff already, but I wouldn't hold my breath in waiting when they come in same packet.

The various extras such as the almanac, are available in different stores in physical format.

where did you see it? I can't find it anywhere. not even on amazon.

Sorry, I was wrong about the almanac. it looks like only the collector's book/guidebook and game guide are available in physical form.
