April 25, 201510 yr Have a special mode where, instead of being able to build your hirelings your ground up you have randomly generated hirelings for the Attributes = 4d6 drop low Skills Specializes in 1 and has a few points in another what you see is a short description that gives the level, a reference to your stats (ie Hardy for high constitution) and a their skill info. example; Cunelegn, A hardy Level 3 Mercenary Rogue from the Living Lands, Specializes in Mechanics with some skill in lore. This would be optional (of course), basically adds a sense of randomness to the whole thing. Each day would generate an arbitrary number of hirelings for each level. Their two skills and background would be random but there class would be based on comparing their stats to the recommended stats. So, while someone might have a high attribute that isn't common for their class, they would usually be suited for their class. It's good to criticize things you love.
