I have exhausted all conversation options with Vicent Agosti in Vailian Embassy, yet "The Forgotten" task was not offered.  I am not sure if this is a bug or if there are undocumented prerequisites for this task and found no clues in walkthroughs, etc.

 

I attempted to upload my save file, but its size is 2.5MB and uploads are limited to only 1MB.  How can we upload save files if the upload limit can only support early-game saves?

Having not completed that quest, I cannot say for certain, however my understanding is that quest is only available after you've been to Twin Elms and resovled Pallegina's side quest.

 

Can't tell from your post whether or not you've already done that.

Vincent Agosti doesn't offer the quest until you have been properly introduced to him by Pallegina. That happens when you visit the embassy after completing At All Costs, a quest given by Mestre Verzano in the Vailian Trading Company, in Odra's Gift.

Thank you, that's indeed the case.  The issue is not with the game, but with the walkthroughs I reviewed; none of them mention the prerequisite.
