If your party finds the unique sabre, Resolution, on level 4 of Od Nua, then returns to Level 3 to unlock the hidden room with the weapon still in the Stash, the secret door will be open and the sabre can be removed from the statue...creating a duplicate (original in the Stash and one just placed in inventory).

Can confirm. As luck would have it, I was just about to do this in my own game. The sabre is not properly removed from the Stash upon placing it on the statue, yet is rewarded when removed.

...this makes me wish I had a good dual-wielder in the party.
