Unable to access all of the stronghold upgrades

In my current save game I have run into a bug with Stronghold upgrades. I am able to purchase all of them but the extra storage chests. The upgrade doesn't appear in the list. I'm running the gog.com version and have the most recent update there which is 1.0.3.530. I had the upgrade available in the list before applying the patch 1.0.3.530 but afterwards it doesn't show up.

That Stronghold upgrade was cut from the game.
