Running the math backwards (and making some assumptions about what "Midwife" does), she stopped spending skill points at level 8 and lost a bunch at level 9. You can buy that 8th rank in Stealth for only 2 skill points (apparently midwife grants 6 points here...don't want the mother to know you're down there, I guess).

 

Also, both she and Pallegina have a fun exploit where if you buy a skill rank and then change your mind, you actually get back more skill points than you had.
