It has happened a few times to me though, ... with 1.03 and also the later hotfixes. Steam version.
What happens?
About the first thing I do at the beginning of the game in the camp is to unequip Calisca's torch and move it to her second weapons set. I open the inventory, and when I single-click the torch, sometimes it's gone immediately and nowhere to be found. Not in the stash and not on the ground either.
