So I initiated the riots and now Defiance Bay is locked off. Didn´t talk to the archives guy before, so I´m wondering if I´ve botched Eders personal quest?

 

It would be cool if there were an alternative route to the information about his brother.

Act 3 follows, I believe you have botched it

Defiance Bay will be unlocked soon enough. Not sure if you can complete the quest though. As long as the archivist is alive, everything should be fine I guess.

Okey dokey then. I´ll report back when it has opened if it is possible to still finish it. Would be darn strange if it wasn´t.

You can still do it. I didn't do it before the riots either, but returned in Act 3 after visiting Twin Elms and Defiance Bay was open again and I could talk to the archivist :)
