You need to do the quest called, The Champions of Berath where you need to beat him as an undead (he appears as a Deathguard), he will also send undead attacks against the stronghold. April 7, 201510 yr Yup, trigger the quest at the inn with the elevator amongst the tribal folk. Killing him will change the epilogue, I don't think there's a third option.
