I am trying to complete Cinders of Faith but I ran into a seeming quest bug. I receive the quest from Fyrga, it's in my journal, but when I go to talk to Wenan he doesn't have any dialog options for giving the location where I should go, only do I want to join etc. Am I missing something?

I have the same problem. It's most likely a bug that needs to be fixed. That or perhaps I need to finish an expedition for Wenan first...

I finished the quest without ever speaking to Wenan - I just stumbled on the location.

You can also steal the geological survey map if the dozens aren't friendly.
