Does Lore matter to party members?

If my main character has enough does it make sense outside scrolls to invest heavily into Lore for my other members of party?

Gaming is interactive...watching TV ..not so much.

    Lore checks in dialog are only for your protagonist. 

     

    So the only reason to level it for party members is because of scrolls, yeah.
