I still think people do not know how to use wizards in Pillars..... Seriously, the classes are pretty balanced (They will never be completely balanced. Just doesn't work that way). Wizards usually ALWAYS start out slow in fantasy RPGs.... This is no different. 

 

They usually ramp up faster than in PoE though.  

 

I think the Wizards in all IE games were quite a bit stronger from start to finish. IMO.

 

Don't get me wrong, Wizard in PoE is still one of the top 5 classes and no where near subpar (Cough Monk/Ranger).
