For some reason the patch will simply not install. Steam keeps installing it over, and over, and over, and over. Just goes to 0% again after reaching 100% (no download, just installing).

 

Does anybody know how this happens?

 

It seemed to have installed the patch yesterday (after first corrupting my game and reinstalling completely)... but then I had a deflection rating of 9, which is quite surely also a bug.

Since I can't seem to edit my post:

 

The perpetual updating is gone after deleting and reinstalling the game. The deflection rating is also back to normal after I could finally deactivate Relentless Assault (I could never before) it turned out that skill was activated a dozen times over, and even though the effects seemed suppressed on the character sheet, they actually weren't.
