not sure if deleting the bob file will do anything? or maybe try and delete most of the steam files apart from the steam exe and the common folder, that will force steam to download all the files, maybe steam is corrupted on your end?

 

otherwise, maybe try and contact steam?

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. We have both tried everything under the sun and nothing has fixed the issue. I, personally, have a ticket open to Steam and waiting on a response, but I think it has to do with review copies not getting flagged for the patch. I'm just not sure which side is responsible for that.

Khalija, don't get your hopes up *too* much, but I just started Steam and an update queued for Pillars! It took a few minutes to validate, and now the entire 5.9 GB file is incoming. Weird. I had the game installed, so I'm not sure what's up. I did open a ticket with Steam a few days ago, so maybe they are getting around to fixing it.

 

Maybe try restarting your Steam client and see if it updates for you as well.

I am getting disk error, try moving the folder. Validate cache. Also flush. What is the deal?
