How do you know exactly what Act you're in? I seem to remember finding a way through my first play through but in my second game I don't see anything in the Journal saying what Act I am in.

 

Is there some obvious way?

I think at the beginning of each act there is one of those fairy-tale-like voiced narrations with nice music, just like at the beginning of the game, when they introduce the setting.

 

And it's displayed on the screen when you are choosing a savefile to load.
