Is there only the single sidequest line for each companion, or do you occasionally get additional quests for adventuring/talking with them?  I'm just wondering if I can pull the correct ones out to follow their quests or if I need to be careful to have specific companions with me during specific times.

I am almost done with the game, and from my experience, there's only a single sidequest for each companion.
