Sagani initiated a dialogue with me after a camp/rest in Raedric's Hold, Act I.

 

Pretty generic stuff, she hands me a piece of deer jerky to start things up.  She closed the conversation by saying she would help my find Thaos. Except I don't know who that is yet.  Google tells me its the final boss but I am no where near knowing that in game plot-wise.
