Spell count: pre-made companions vs custom-made companions.

My custom made spellcasters can't cast that many spells, even being in the same level.

 

The max number of tier 1 spells i can cast with my custom lvl 8 wizard is 6, but Aloth, in the same lvl 8, can cast 21? It's a bug right? The same goes to my druid and priest, when compared to Durance and Hiravias.

Are they by any chance wearing items that increases the amount of spells they can cast? If they are those might be the culprit since a lot of other items giving bonuses are bugged as well, either breaking character passives or giving a lot more stats than they should etc.
