I had finished Far From Home and had given Serel 6000 cp for the amulet so that she now hangs around the fountain in Brackenbury.
Later when I entered the district I'm attacked by assassins by the fountain. The first thing they did though was to concentrate on murdering Serel before turning to me. I managed to save her from getting killed by loading and killing them quickly.
