There is documentation that indicates that stat bonuses from equipment and spells don't stack - only the highest bonus is applied.  However, does this mean that buffs from separate spells/chants behave the same way?  For example, if a priest casts "Shields for the Faithful" and a chanter uses "The Silver Knights' Shields Broke Both Arrow and Blade," would the deflection bonuses stack or does only the largest one take effect?
