Could you, please, share your thoughts on what are the best wizard spells, the ones I should take the moment they become available?

 

I've just reached lvl 5 (lvl 3 spells available).

I'm also curious on the ' to-go-to' spells,

 

Most useful spells seem AOE (also affecting team-members), which requires on the point spellcasting.

 

If I Delve into my BG experience, always spam those magic missiles (penetrate through high resistance enemies) ,

 

Furthermore, I'd be focusing on crowd control abilities and not so much as damage. But it would be nice if someone could set-up a lost for the best cc / damage / buff/debuff spells!
