Can you attach your save games, output logs, and dxdiag/system specs?

 

Save Games location:

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Pillars of Eternity\Saves

 

Output log for Steam:

\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\output_log.txt

 

Output log for Linux:

Home/.config/unity3d/Obsidian Entertainment/Pillars of Eternity/Player.log) 

 

Output log for Mac:

-"Library">"Logs"> "Unity"> Player.log

Ehm this is little embarasing but you must only wait. The game look like freeze but in some time it will show the portraits but it have awfull loading time of each portrait

 

Game form GOG , no save files yet,

I'm having the same issue on the Mac (Steam) after character creation. I'll let it sit for a bit, but I just have a black screen with a cursor for about five minutes now.

Lovely...

 

 

edit:  I was able to resolve by reducing the resolution and setting windowed mode until after the story began.  Then I was able to set full screen and bring the resolution back up.  Very odd.
