So I clicked a link posted in  PBJam's signature which brought me to an unofficial Wiki which i then clicked the most recent change PoE related. It was Fruit.

 

The description says +5 endurance for 285 seconds (base 300 sec). What's "Base" refer to?

The first number is the modified duration. The second number is the base duration, as in the unmodified duration of the power or item in question.

Base is how long something lasts without taking into account how it's modified by attributes (like intelligence) or skills (like survival).
