getting all the armor (mackey does not have batdadarang

so I finished the game with 700 bucks, and without buying a lot of armor. 

I went back and starting buying up armor that I could find...

 

but mr. mackey did not have the batdadrang anymore.....is that only available on day 2? if so that is a bummer.
