Basically what's in the title. There's a "views" count for each topic, I have no idea how it works, and it's driving me crazy. Does it count each visitor once? Every time they open the topic? Every time they open the topic after a set amount of time has passed? Does it count only registered users, or guests too? How does it differentiate between guests, if it does? Etc.

I'm not totally sure, but I think one view is counted per person. There also seems to be a delay in when the new views are displayed. Either when a new person posts in a thread and/or at some fixed interval.

I believe guests and registered users are both counted. As to how guests are differentiated, I'm not totally sure, but I assume their IP address is a key factor.
