September 15, 201411 yr Basically what's in the title. There's a "views" count for each topic, I have no idea how it works, and it's driving me crazy. Does it count each visitor once? Every time they open the topic? Every time they open the topic after a set amount of time has passed? Does it count only registered users, or guests too? How does it differentiate between guests, if it does? Etc. "Lulz is not the highest aspiration of art and mankind, no matter what the Encyclopedia Dramatica says."
September 15, 201411 yr I'm not totally sure, but I think one view is counted per person. There also seems to be a delay in when the new views are displayed. Either when a new person posts in a thread and/or at some fixed interval. I believe guests and registered users are both counted.
