HELP! steam updates cause my game to crash

when I start up the game it will show the normal  creators of the game and the warning and then the game crash right before the title screen. should I uninstall and reinstall it

 

that would probably be the best option to start with i would say, BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR SAVES by default its under  "My document\My games\South park the stick of truth"  just to make sure they dont get erased.
