Goth- Nonconformist

I got the quest from the goths to take a picture of the sign.  I go to the PTA and am sent to the site of the new Taco Bell, I come back with the recording and Randy takes my picture with the sign, he says he will send it to me, so I head over to the goths and nothing happens.  They say I still need the picture, I can't figure out how to get the picture.  I have gone back to the PTA and still nothing.

I have the same issue on PC (steam).

 

This is not the dance related issue people are having; the quest is stuck after Randy takes the photograph at which point the goth kids don't acknowledge it when approached.

 

Here are some details that may or may not be useful:

I was wearing the goth clothing from the time I started the quest up until the

Nazi Zombies killed some guards

, at which point I switched my goth clothing for

SWAT clothing

at the "new Taco Bell." I believe I had that on when the picture was taken, but with the

alien headset instead of the helmet

. I wandered around town and did other quests after Randy took the photo, and leveled up to where I bought the Khan outfit and was wearing that when I went to turn in the quest. When I walked up to them, they were complaining about my clothes again so I switched back and tried again; they just started yelling at me to go get the photo. I tried leaving the area and coming back, but it didn't help.

 

I don't have any quest object photograph if one was supposed to have been added. I went back to the PTA meeting area and looked around for one I might have missed picking up (even though it was implied Randy was e-mailing it to me), and I tried to talk to Randy again but he just kept saying the PTA will call on me if I am needed (which is what he is supposed to be doing at this stage in the quest).

 

I have the latest updated version from Steam and have had the patch installed since before getting the goth clothes and talking to them about them wanting a photo taken. However, I had been told by them to get the right outfit and smokes/coffee before installing the patch (to be more precise, I did not buy the clothes or get the coffee or smokes before the patch installed, but it was in my quest log to do so [i did get it all after getting the patch, to be clear, since I had to have it to get this far in the quest of course]). And I never sold any of the goth gear even though I wasn't always wearing it as described above, it was always in my inventory still.

 

I'm not sure if any of that is useful in tracking down the issue, but it can't hurt. Unless you get eye strain reading it. And then that turns into a case of that pink eye going around. And then you start eating people. Then I guess it could hurt.

Update: I got them to talk to me just now. I wandered around town for a while, did some shopping, rode Timmy's carriage back to school, and they the goth kids still wanted me to go find the photo (which my Noncomformist objective said I had and to deliver to them). So I took off all my clothes (the goth outfit which I was still wearing from my last post and hadn't removed since first putting it back on) and then put the goth clothes back on, and when I interacted with them at that point they started the dance scene as was supposed to happen. So it was a weird anomaly it seems.

 

Side note is they also seem to agree chillballs are non-comformist, since my new set didn't cause complaints. I did get plenty of head turns from the ladies.
