Weapon flash issue (spoilers)

After i got onto the alien ship my weapons stopped flashing to show when to deal perfect hit. It works with whatever buddy i have with me but not with my character. it is happening with any weapon i equip
PS. i tried to post it in issues forum bot it says i cannot post anything in there

GTX 560 with the 334.89 driver. This missing flash doesn't occur on all attacks. Only some of the abilities that belong to douchebag and the others don't work. Most see to be fine though. I wish I had time to go through and test them all out and note the broken ones... but one example is butters standard attack stopped flashing halfway through the game for me. Another example is some of stans abilities never flashed from the beginning. Hope this helps some.

I had the same problem until I realized my understanding of the word "mash" is not the same as the game developers! For example, one of Stan's special moves requires you to "mash" A and D until you see the flash.  This does NOT mean hold down A and D together. You need to "TAP" back and forth between A and D to make him spin and then he will flash. Butter's has a similar move that asks you to "mash" 2 buttons and again, they should have said alternately tap A and D. Hope this helps!
