Chefbot
Hi, I'm just wondering if it's possible to upgrade my pledge from digital to a physical copy. I was a bit strapped at the time, but I would love to get a box. Thanks, and sorry if this is the wrong board!
Chefbot
Please, if anyone knows about this, I'd really appreciate it I stupidly assumed that this would be available with the other upgrades, and now my collection might go uncomplete. I would really love to get a box
rjshae
I think you're out of luck unless they release a boxed version commercially. See http://eternity.obsidian.net/. "It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats."
Chefbot
That's grim. Thanks for replying though It seems crazy to limit the upgrades like that, way before they started making them. But I shouldn't have assumed it would be available
rjshae
I don't think it's crazy; just a logical business decision. Some of the pledge levels have a direct impact on what goes into the game, so they would need to wrap that up before starting the next step in the design process. They also need to plan out their budget. "It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats."
Chefbot
I'm trying to add money to my pledge though. I'm sure the $45 difference doesn't all get spent on making the box copy. Anyway, i appreciate you replying. I guess I'll just try to pick up a pre-owned copy at some other time
rjshae
Well, you could always try that info@obsidian.net e-mail addy and see if they are open to making an exception. 1 "It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats."
