So, I've reached the point in the game where

you meet the Jedi Masters on Dantooine

and after the dialogue plays

Specifically after Kreia blasts them with lightning

I get a black screen where I can see the cursor and open up the menus but can't do anything else.

 

My research has shown that this might be caused by a Kreia skin glitch, but the only mods I have are the RCM 1.81 and possibly the 1.0c patch (I reinstalled the game on Steam twice, making sure not to reinstall it, but RCM was installed automatically so I might not have purged 1.0c successfully).

 

Is there any way to resolve this, or should I write the save off, manually delete everything and reinstall with just the RCM?

Are there any texture mods that simply bring the existing ones into High-Res? I know there are a few that revamp the textures, but I kind of like the existing ones. It's just hard playing the game in the ugliness that is low resolution. 1.0c did this, but then I ran into the above issue.
