Malokenic Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Okay. So, I was on my Sister's Desktop playing KOTOR2 and the textures were great. I had everything at the highest settings except for grass and shadows and I loved it. Then when it comes time for me to leave, I go to my house and play on my laptop and the textures are horrible. It won't even let me force anything to get to the highest settings. My texture level is at High. It won't let me change the Antialiasing. It won't let me put Antrioscopy past 2x. And overall the game just doesn't look at good. Even if I force it by changing it through the Ini, nothing changes and it still looks horrible. What can I do?
Malokenic Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 I still need help with this. Please help?
The Guildmaster Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Hey Mal, one suggestion is to make sure you're running the latest drivers on your laptop. Sometimes those settings can get locked if your hardware or drivers don't support those features. Granted, K2's an old game now, so if you have a fairly modern laptop, you should have at least some of those features. I would certainly suggest looking in to updating your video drivers though. Also what kind of graphics hardware does your laptop have (if you know)? If you don't know, what kind of laptop (with model) is it?
