XxRY4NRULESxX Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I've been trying to remove Kotor2 from my computer so I could reinstall it (it won't let me play it anymore). I've tried deleting it from add/remove but nothing happens and I've tried removing it from all programs and it says "can't find setup.exe". I tried finding the uninstall file in the Kotor2 files under Lucasarts but there wasn't one. I also tried finding the files through start>run>regedit which I read online should work but it said regedit doesn't exist. I even tried deleting the file manually which successfully worked but when I went to reinstall it it wouldn't let me so I restored the files through backup ones and now when I try to play it it says it isn't installed properly, please restore the installation or reinstall the game, which as I've said, I can't. So I'm stuck in a loop. It was playing fine yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Ive really gotten into the game again. Thanks for your time. Oh I have Windows XP.
The Guildmaster Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Hey Ryan, which version of the game do you have? The new combo pack, or an older K2-only? It is odd that when you did Start -> Run -> regedit it came back not existing. Have you ever had malware/viruses?
