Lego Batman 2: DC Super-Heroes

Featured Replies

Lego Batman 2 is as follows:

Gameplay: From what we've seen, and that's not much, it will retain basic Lego gameplay, but introduce new gadgets like Robin's Hazard Cannon. It will probably put a higher emphasis on the use of both Batman and Robin and how they use their gadgets in battle. This would put a higher emphasis on squad based, but to an extent. Also the recurring villains such as Bane and the Joker will probably have a more varied sense of gameplay than in the previous game to not only boost variety, but interest in the product.

Story: Superman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern arrive in Gotham City to stop Lex Luthor and his evil criminal plans. Batman and Robin set out to stop the havoc in Gotham City occurring mainly due to his arch-nemesis, the Joker.

Characters: The Joker and Bane will no doubt, the Joker because its the Joker, unless its Rocksteady, Batman games are bust without the Joker. Bane because the game is set to be released with The Dark Knight Rises. From what I know, I think that the characters of Nightwing and Batgirl are going to be present, maybe even Richard as Batman being the prodigal son and all. Plus, Hush should have a larger role in this game.

What do you guys think the game's going to be like?

I think that it will differentiate the Lego Games genres even more, because Star Wars and Harry Potter seem to be like strategy or TPS, and Indiana Jones and Pirates seem to be more like Adventure. I think that this one is going to be a mix between the two.
