Barrashan Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Hey all, I've been having issues with KOTOR2. Game works just fine, but after some battles my character cannot move. Game seems to be running fine during this, and I can access all menus, but I cannot move from the position I was in when the combat ended. I searched the forum and did not see a similar issue, but if there is a thread already, I apologize for the added post, and may I have a link to that? Not sure what to do, or where to go from here. Suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Barrashan Posted August 15, 2011 Author Posted August 15, 2011 Just to add some more information, it's like I'm stuck in combat mode. Hitting F doesn't toggle it off and allow me to move. Quick Saving and then Quick Loading allows me to move, but appears to be tiresome and could be an issue as it wipes any dead enemies from the screen (hopefully they don't carry any important drops). Sometimes, after 30 seconds to 5 minutes, I become unstuck, and can move again. Very frustrating. Hope someone knows away around or to fix this. Thanks again.
Togruta Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 (edited) This is a common problem. For me, it is most likely to happen when I control T3-M4, but can at times happen when controlling the Exile... You can't prevent that from happening. The only way to unstuck your character is the one you use: save and reload. (the loot should still be there after reloading but you can actually get it even when you're stuck. Click on it, you'll see. You can also open footlockers and such...) Fortunately it doesn't happen that often. Edited August 15, 2011 by Togruta

Thanks again.
