Stuck on "Heroes of Old"

I have made it up to where i have to open the gate for the quest "Heroes of Old", and i am almost 100% sure I picked up both signet rings, but when I go to open the gate, it just clicks like its locked and doesnt open... How can i check where the signet rings are and if i have them both. Very frustrating considering i have no other side quests to run.

Just click on both statues, not the gate. :thumbsup:
