While playing the demo i just understanded one thing not.. how do you use these special abilities etc?

(played the Dungeonsiege 1 + Legends of aranna, and now returning with dung 3)

1,2 and 3 with a keyboard or the face buttons with a gamepad. If I'm not mistaken.
