Hocevar Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 (edited) I'd like to know if the PC port of DS3 will have native support for the xbox controller, unfortunately there a lot of devs that simply remove support of it from their ports altogether but since DS3 seems to be more console-centric I'd prefer to play it using my controller instead of kb+mouse. Oh and I'd like to confirm this, will the PC port use steamworks ? I found some scatered announcements about that and D2D even lists it as requiring a 3rd party software but I'd like to confirm directly with you guys. ps: before anyone tells me I should buy it for console, I don't have one neither I want one. Tigranes Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 From what we've heard, it seems yes you can use controllers, even two controllers, on PC. Devs have repeatedly stated how you can plug in controller & play. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
WorstUsernameEver Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Game uses Steamworks, yup. As for controllers, what Tigranes said, it supports the Xbox360 controller completely.
