February 25, 201114 yr Everytime I boot the PC, there's a "Home Network" and a "Non-indendified Puplic Network" in my Network center, which means I can't get online. I have first to deactivate my Network adapter, wait a minute, activate again, and then I only have "Home Network" in the list which means I can get online again. This is annoying. I haven't had that problem with XP. Is there any way to permanently disable this "Public Network" that stops me from getting online? Rain makes everything better.
February 26, 201114 yr Sorry if I'm being thick, but surely you take the public network out of your preferred list? Open it up and there will be a list of signals. You simply delete it. I know it's probably more complex than that, but I don't know enough to suggest what else might be wrong. "It wasn't lies. February 26, 201114 yr Author What "prefered list" are you refering to? I can't just delete it out of the list, I don't even know how it got in in the first place. Edit: I have learned that this issue is linked with Adobe CS3. Uninstalling it however is not an option. Edited February 26, 201114 yr by Morgoth Rain makes everything better.
February 27, 201114 yr Author Okay, the problem has been solved. I had to disable the Apple Bonjour service. I never asked this crap to get installed in the first place... Rain makes everything better.
February 28, 201114 yr 'Apple Bonjour' sounds like something you'd punch immediately, if you were having a good enough day. "It wasn't lies.
