I have recently found my Star wars Kotor2 and I am having trouble getting it to play. It has installed correctly but every time i try to play i cant get past the first Scene in the game right after character creation. I have tried compatibility with windows vista and xp i am currently running windows 7 software on my laptop.

This sounds like something that can be solved by disabling Vertex Buffer objects.

(add the line Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 under [Graphics options] in swkotor.ini)
